A great decorative aquarium plant
Includes Java Moss
Anubias attached to Lava Rock - a colourful decorative piece for your aquarium fish tank. Anubias is typically found in shady marshes, streams and riverbanks.
Anubias is a hardy broad-leafed plant ideal for a tropical aquarium. The roots form on a creeping rhizome. In aquariums, these plants grow best when the rhizome is attached to rocks, driftwood or other decorative substrate. A coat of algae may form on the leaves, which is ideal for algae grazing species such as shrimp or plecos.
Because of its thick leather-like leaves, the slow-growing Anubias is ideal for fish tanks with cichlids or other fishes that would not otherwise be candidates for a planted aquarium. The hardy dark green leaves provide a nice contrast to other plants in the aquarium.
