You will receive approximately 50 grams or two tablespoons.
A very easy and versatile plant; it out competes algae, provides cover for species of fish that prefer lower light e.g. betta fish, protects fry from strong lighting, and makes a great place for shrimp to quite literally 'hang out' upside down!
I also find it useful to slow down fish who like to eat so fast i.e. platy fish or bettas. It gives others in a community tank a chance to get their share and entertains bettas as they forage for their food amongst the duckweed, and it is great for fry to hide out in.
It makes great chicken food too!
It grows well even with low power light sources. A portion this size will eventually grow to sufficiently cover your tank or pond (if you want it to) quite quickly. It is easily managed, too - just net out excess growth and compost it or feed it to a hungry herbivore. My silver dollars love a duckweed snack.
My tanks are shrimp and snail safe!
Thanks for looking - please check my other items for sale as I often have bargain plants, snails, fish, and some dry goods for fish and shrimp keepers.
