Live Aquarium Plants 5 Stems of Each Bacopa: Caroliniana, Monnieri (Crenata) & Lanigera
Bacopa Caroliniana: AKA Baby Tears
Bacopa caroliniana originates from US and has been used as an aquarium plant for many years. Stems become 10-30 cm long and 3-4 cm wide. Apart from relatively good light it makes few demands. Its slow growth rate makes it one of the few stem plants that do not need much attention. Like most stem plants, it is most decorative when planted in small groups. Easy to propagate by cuttings; take a side shoot and plant it in the bottom. Bacopa Caroliniana is one of the most popular aquatic plants in the hobby. Its bold leaf structure and relatively slow-growth pattern makes it a popular choice in aquascaping. It can be shaped at the discretion of the aquarist. If allowed to grow through the water surface, it usually grows tiny purple and blue flowers.
As with most plants, colouration is improved with regular iron and micronutrient dosing. CO2 and macronutrient supplementation will result in slightly faster growth, and leaves will be markedly thicker and larger.

Found in a variety of regions including Africa, Asia, America and Australia this beautiful plant can grow up to 50cm and is know to produce delicate white-to-pink blossoms.
By pinching off all vertical growing shoots, the plant can maintain a low and close growth, since it willingly creates a large number of side shoots. Further, the plant grows well in the shadow of other plants.
